We’ve retrofitted over one thousand general purpose, non-, single and double extraction steam turbines driving mechanical and generator applications, with mechanical and digital technologies bringing unique solutions to unique problems. We appreciate the steam turbine as a system of processes: Inlet Valve Control, Shutoff Valve Control, Extraction Valve(s) Control, Process Control, Startup and Shutdown Control, and the process that the steam turbine is operating under and driving. We understand the boundary conditions and associated engineering tradeoffs. We understand the application whether a power plant, refinery, steel, or papermill.

We listen closely to our customer needs. Paying particular attention to what they are trying to achieve from the board room to the turbine deck. All aspects from financial, technical, and user requirements are incorporated into our designs. We work side by side with our select vendors, turbine service shops, and end users to learn how to most closely meet their needs.

Our experienced, multi-disciplined engineers and technicians are mechanical, electrical, and controls specialists. Our team uses Electrical and Mechanical Design Software, Human Machine Interface and Service Software, Instrumentation and Monitoring Software, Vibration Analyzers as tools to develop and validate our unique solutions.

We integrate monitoring of our controls systems with customer DCS systems, so they can evaluate performance, predict use-based maintenance requirements, and impending component failure.

Certainly, the digitization of a steam turbine can solve many problems and provide many benefits, however when coupled with robust mechanical modifications and seamless interfacing an optimum solution is achieved. We use industrial steam turbine design specific and proven components designed and manufactured by Woodward, Inc. and other leading vendors. We actively participate with vendor design engineers when new products are introduced and thoroughly understand each components capability. We also manufacture our own components and interfaces for seamless integration.
