Our History

Founded in 1971 by Dick Steele, Peaker Services, Inc. started small, repairing and maintaining EMD diesel generators used to generate power during peak usage. Our passion for power systems led us to expand over the years, bringing us aboard trains, ships, factories, even overseas.

Today, Peaker is more than a power maintenance servicer, we are driven by a set of core tenets, values that guide and represent our vision of improving power systems worldwide. We use Quality as a business model. We promote interest and pride of workmanship in our employees. We are 100% employee-owned, allowing us all to celebrate Peaker's successes.

Peaker Services, inc. strives to provide the best quality products and service to our customers. To achieve this, we pride ourselves on years of knowledge, teamwork, and keeping certifications from reputable industry leaders up-to-date. PSI also provides training to employees to operate machinery safely and conform to industry standards.
