Peaker Services, Inc. celebrated its 50th Anniversary on August 19th, 2021 with a Pure Michigan Summer Picnic on its beautiful Brighton, MI headquarter grounds. From far and wide, employees and their families, former employees, friends, customers, and vendors gathered and were treated to great local catering food trucks, local craft beer, and corn hole games. Kids ran amok between the petting zoo and the 50ft slip and slide, fully equipped with giant inflatable ride-on slide animals. Dick Steele, founder of the company, joyfully welcomed the 100+ attendees and wished the company another 50 successful years. Peaker is a different company in the world by uniquely serving its employees by removing barriers, creating opportunities for development and genuine responsibility, systematically addressing challenges, leaning into creative improvement ideas, and kindly respecting each other and all who come into contact with Peaker. Under the big tent warm smiles, laughter, and conversation flowed well into the sunset. May the Peaker family continue to grow and deliver kindness and service into the world for the next 50 years.
